Soft version excellent for Football players. It allows for player mobility with dispersion of direct blows. At a $1.98 cheap insurance against testicular rupture.

Ordered a couple of these because the price is so good. I assume I received the adult version of these, but I can't be too sure. They are thin. Thin. Very thin. The term "banana cup" is better understood when I look at these. I'm not sure I see a scenario in which I wear these when I need to protect that sensitive area of my anatomy. But, hey, you only live once. I'll try it one day so I can assure or warn my fellow like-anatomy umpires or ball players. (I'm done producing and raising kids anyway.) When I actually get the stones to try this cup, and I can get rung on the can, and it protects me accordingly, I will return and write another review, either in my normal writing, or a high-shrill writing. If I'm not able to test the repercussion of the cup, I can at least update the review on its comfort level. Until then, I'm sticking with my three out of five stars.

Very displeased. Although it is a soft cup, it's almost like a paper cup. My mistake but it was only for my 8 year old grandson, so u thought it would provide little more protection
