Good padding on hips and has a stirrup to keep pants legs inside boot. Very functional and received in advance of projected delivery date

These are absolutely great pants, if they fit you. Amazing padding. Perfect for indoor. I'm 6'1". The XL pants seem like they would fit great if I were 5'11. If you're that size or shorter, you'll love these pants. I definitely would not order these if you're taller than 6'1", though.
