I bought these jerseys for U9 play. Though the jerseys are not padded, they are made of a thick material that I seems durable enough for long term use. If you're fields aren't plush and well maintained, or you have holder, more aggressive players, or both, you would want more padding. Great value for a quality product.

Very bright color, girls say it looks great on the field. Much lighter fabric than many other goalie jerseys purchased earlier, very good for this extra warm spring weather. Cant wait to see how it holds up over time.

The jersey is very nice - good, sturdy stitching and bold coloring. The only thing I wasn't completely happy about is the number on the back. The number was heat pressed on and then immediately folded, crookedly. When I got it in, it looked all puckered and not so nice. I had to put it in the dryer on low for about a half an hour to get the number to smooth out, and it's still not what I'd call "perfect" as it ought to be.
