Shoes were easy to break in. I do suggest getting a 1/2 size larger than regular shoe size to accomodate thicker socks or taped ankles.

These are the best mens ref/turf shoes I have found. After trying a lot of different types and styles, these shoes offer everything I was looking for. They are water proof, soft and comfortable with great traction; These are the first soccer shoes I have found that gave a little extra room on the inside, especially between the top and bottom of the shoe. That means you can use your shoe inserts for greater support, comfort and cushion and your foot still fits in the shoe comfortably and securely like it is suppose to. I am very happy with the shoe and would buy it again. Epic Sports did a great job in availability and timely shipping as well. I have found a new sports gear resource.

Great shoe. I read one of the other reviews before I ordered this shoe and one review said the sizes ran small so since they didn't have my exact size I ordered a 1/2 size larger but it was much too big.

Comfortable shoes. Size may be a little on the small side, so you might want to order up a half size.

I had seen this product for years and gave it the "HO-HUM" in the past. Last year because of plantar fasciatis the footwear I used for officiating became a real concern. These boots/shoes have been "Fantastic" and are good for literally all conditions. I am preparing to order my third pair and the price is still a great value too.

Shoes are great, but cut a bit too high. Break-in period required band-aids to cover the formed blisters. Good value though and a decent pair of shoes, especially after callouses formed post-blistering.

This is my 4th pair of these referee turfs. I really like them and they've held up well. I do apply leather treatment regularly in order to get the most life out of them. When they're time is up, it's usually the leather separating from the sole seam.

I don't usually wear cleated shoes refereeing soccer. This was my first pair and they fit fine and in two games have felt fine. I haven't had a wet surface yet, but I am confident they will give me good traction. This weekend I will be wearing them in back-to-back games and will be interested in how tired or sore my feet will feel. I would recommend these shoes to be given a try. I am 64 and 175 lbs.

Good looking shoes. Took me several youth games to break in before feeling comfortable enough to wear on competitive high school games. Once broken in they are very comfortable. Quite stiff at first and came up a little high on the ankles. Now I don't feel anything and will probably do quite well in inclement weather. Very happy with the purchase, just need a little patience.

The collar around the ankle is a little stiff but you don't notice it at all if you wear 2 pairs of socks. The rest of the shoe is very comfortable and feels broken in right out of the box. Much less fatigue than wearing traditional cleats. Shipping was great; received days before I expected them.

They run true to size and are made from top-quality leather it appears. I have used them on grass in heavy rain with no traction problems.

Excellent quality. But the shoes take some time to break in. the outside ankle wall of the boot rubs into my lateral maleolus and made it so tender I couldnt walk on after the first weekend i used them 8 games in a row.

The reason this is a 3 star shoe is that the rim of the shoe hits my ankle and i need to get an insole to raise my foot up so my ankle is not being driven into the ankle support. Other than that this is a very comfortable shoes and breaks in very easily.

Good shoe for the value. Like the all-leather construction, however shape around foot opening is not quite correct. The sides of the openings are a bit high and wear at the bottom of the ball of the ankles.
