The Mule Soccer System is comprised of The Mule along with the Mule Euro Training System (The Mihaljevic European Training Method) that guides coaches in training players with the Mule which develops knowledge, skill, and muscle memory in each player.
The Mule Euro Training System (The Mihaljevic European Training Method) was developed by George Mihaljevic. George was trained by Dragon Filipovic, Developmental Youth Soccer Coach for the Yugoslav National Team as well as for Radnicki and Red Star Professional Soccer Clubs in Yugoslavia. In 1953, at age 17 George was made Captain of the Junior National Team of Yugoslavia. Hoping to better his life, he migrated to the U.S. passing thru Austria, Switzerland and Germany making his way to the U.S. in 1957.
After his tour of duty in the U.S. Army, he established the White Star Soccer Team in 1962-63 season. They became State Champions in the Open and Amateur Cups in 1965-66 season. He signed as Professional Coach of the St. Louis Stars of the National Professional Soccer League in 1966. He returned to Germany in the Fall of 1967 and studied under the tutelage of Hennes Weisweiler, renowned Coach and Professor at the Koln Sporthochschule in Cologne, Germany. In March of 1968 he opened the first official incorporated Soccer School in the United States, the Mihaljevic Soccer School. Students were sought after by colleges and universities and many went on to be professional players and coaches.
