This backpack is fantastic. We originally purchased a few for ourselves and other kids on the team, but as more players and parents saw them, I had to order more for them. Our son was just using any duffle bag we had in the house, leaving mud and debris every time he used it. We were concerned that we wouldn't be able to use them for anything else. Worse, there wasn't any good way for him to pack his things such that he didn't get mud or dried from his cleats all over his uniform and other gear. With this backpacks many designed pockets, everything's separated, and it even has the special pouch for the ball. Each of the children's names are clearly embroidered, which has made it very easy for the coach and support staff to pass out gear on road games.

I ordered two of these backpacks, one for each child. They are of sturdy construction and I expect they will last through many seasons to come. While I ordered them specifically for soccer, they are also coming in handy for other activities in the off-season. Currently, my son's bag is being used for transporting swimming gear to and from the pool. The compartments make it easy to keep the wet trunks away from dry clothes. No more loosing goggles - they have their own pocket. Soccer season starts in two weeks. Since the choice of colors is one of many real selling features of this product, I'm going to try and get a group order together with the rest of t he team parents.

This is a large and sturdy bag. I was not sure when I ordered it whether the mesh pouches, zippers and embroidery would be top-notch. Rest assured, the workmanship is top-notch and it is worth the money to put your child's name on the bag (looks very nice)--I used the last name for my two girls. I suspect they will be able to use this bag through high school. They are now 5 and 6 years old. This is a large bag and when they wear it they look really cute. I keep two size three balls in each bag, their cleats, shin-guards, several uniform jerseys, two pairs of shorts and 10 or so 4 inch cones. Their is even a pocket for their hair scruncies, a snack and their YMCA membership card. Yes, it fits all that and when we want to play, we just grab the bag and go!

Love this bag... holds an amazing amount of gear! I have my ball, my shoes, shinguards, several pairs of socks, extra shirts, and first aid stuff all in mine very easily! And it still has plenty of room for more gear if necessary. Separate side compartment for dirty/wet shoes is also a very nice feature.
