I have seen goalies wear gloves forever, but never thought much about buying a pair for my son. He mentioned that he wanted a pair, so I found a pair on sale in a brand name that I trusted. He cannot quit talking about how "sticky" these gloves are when gripping a ball. Even though they look cumbersome on his hands, they appear to have helped when trying to field that slick soccer ball when the dew is still on the morning grass. I would highly recommend these pair for goalies of all ages. He plays in the 14U Division now, and I wish that I had thought to buy him a pair of these four years ago.
