If you understand goalkeepers you will appreciate the importance of lateral thinking as well as the importance of lateral movement. Arguably the most pressured position on the pitch, goalkeepers had been largely ignored when it came to football boots, that is until one of Uhlsport's team had a "Eureka moment" and came up with the concept for a boot just for keepers. A boot that had additional forefoot claws (= German: kralle) to provide lateral grip, an EVA wedge to raise the heel by a mere 4mm, sufficient to distribute the weight to the toes and enhance the ability to spring and react. The moulded sole MD with its additional gripping elements is the best option in the goal on dry and hard underground.

Excellent quality shoe. Had difficulty finding a wide enough soccer cleat for my son, this one is perfect. The extra cleats for side to side movement is ingenious.
