"My daughter loves her new face guard. Prior to getting the metal face guard she had the plastic one. She is a pitcher and was struck in the face with a line drive ball. It broke but saved her face. The force of the ball hitting her caused some damage to her jaw but she is fine now. Since we have gotten her the new face guard she has rebuilt her confidence and feels safer with the metal vs the plastic. I encourage all girls playing fast pitch to wear a face guard. If she had not had a guard the results of that line drive ball hitting her could have been life threating." (E23286)
