"Standard flat athletic cups have been around since the late 1940's, if not earlier. I wore traditional flat cups beginning in the 1960's but graduated to more contemporary banana cups when they came in the 1980's. A couple months ago I wanted to try an Adams standard athletic cup just to see what it is like. I was impressed by Adams having one size for boys and two sizes for men (medium and large).
